Where do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online through our website’s ticket outlet Ticket Tailor as well as through Skiddle. Any remaining tickets on the day will be available at our ticket booth (location will be confirmed nearer to the festival date).
Are under 18s allowed?
During the festival under 18s are more than welcome (and many attend and have an amazing time - we love hearing how many kids love the live music!). Kids aged seven and younger can attend for free but 8-17 year olds need to buy a Youth ticket.
Please do not bring buggies/prams etc to the venues as there won't be space for them!
Please note that SHAKE THE HIGH ROAD is not an event designed specifically for children so please ensure they are not causing issues to other patrons and staying quiet (where possible!) during performances that require a respectful atmosphere. There may also be artists using explicit language so please be aware of this! Children remain fully the responsibility of their parents at all time.
PLEASE NOTE - Each venue has a curfew for when under 18s have to leave, and all Under 18s must be supervised by an adult in licensed venues at all times.
Red Lion Ballroom - No Under 18s allowed after 7pm.
Leytonstone Social (both floors) - No Under 12s after 9pm.
St John's Church - TBC (estimated 10pm)
St John's Church Hall - Allowed all day (venue closes at 5pm)
St John's Churchyard - Allowed all day
Will there be drink and food available?
In our Community Area, which will be the large yard space outside St John's Church, we will have a fully licensed bar from Pretty Decent Beer Co., as well as various amazing street food vendors.
How do I DJ or perform live at the festival?
Although we are fully booked for 2026, if you wish to be considered for any last minute spaces (or keen for 2027!) drop us an email at info@shakethehighroad.com - we endeavour to check out every submission.
Is there car parking at the festival?
We don't have any official car park close by, but there is street parking in Leytonstone (check the Waltham Forest Council website for more information on parking zones) as well as ample space in a nearby car park (3 mins walk from venues) at the bottom of Church Lane (past Leytonstone tube station).
