East London artist simon a. blends alternative rap, soul and experimental electronics into a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly different. The Nigerian-Italian artist draws influence from artists like James Blake, Tyler, the Creator and Sampha while carving out a distinctive voice of his own.

His debut album, the show earned nominations at the 2025 Youth Music Awards for Best Original Track (“FERMI”) and Best Music Video (“Taxidermy”). In 2025, he followed with I CAN’T SELL THIS, a visual rap mixtape released entirely outside of streaming platforms, culminating in a short film featuring 13 original music videos.

As a live performer, simon has appeared at festivals including All Points East and Tramlines, as well as venues such as The Dome, Signature Brew, House of KOKO, and Notting Hill Arts Club. His work has been supported by NME, GUAP, Notion and Wordplay, premiered on COLORSxSTUDIOS, and continues to receive airplay from BBC Introducing, Reprezent Radio, Voices Radio and The Unsigned Guide. In 2025, he was named one of Youth Music’s Ones to Watch.
